The diatribe between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) continued yesterday when the latter accused the ruling party of
exposing the life of Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu to danger and plotting his
arrest by the police, warning that it would oppose any plot to force him out of office.

While alerting Nigerians and the international community on the present danger and
threat to the lives of key opposition leaders in the country, PDP warned that it would hold
the federal government and APC leaders responsible should any harm come the way
of the Deputy Senate President or any of its party leaders for that matter.
